Update on Me and Emma...
Emma will be born Tuesday morning (Nov. 3rd)! I went in for an ultrasound this last Thursday and my fluid levels were low. Then they measured Emma again (last time they measured her was 2 1/2 weeks ago), and she measured in at 3 lbs 2 oz which means she hasn't been growing as she should be. So on Tuesday I will be 34 weeks and they will perform a C-section that morning. We were hoping it wouldn't have to be a C-section, but with how little she is, it is much safer to not put her little body and heart through that trauma because most babies that little can't handle the contractions. Cade and I are grateful we made it to 34 weeks because the doctor's have said multiple times that babies at that week do a lot better! Because she is so little, she will have to spend some time in the NICU. How long she will be in there is unknown, so we'll continue to take things one day at a time. We are excited to be parents soon! Thank you again for the continued support and prayers by each of you! Cade and I truly appreciate it!

Best Husband Award
I had some great people who brought me flowers when I first came to the hospital. Well, I've been here so long, they all died and we had to throw them away this weekend. Cade came yesterday and visited me and brought in two beautiful flower arrangements and told me he was sorry I had to go a day without flowers.
To make things even better, he sacrificed embarassment while walking through the hospital. On the way over, he was driving with the flowers on his lap in the car. The flower shop filled the vase so full that water spilled all over his lap and it definitely looked like he had an accident. Even so, he delivered the flowers to me and took me on a walk! He is the greatest ever!
Cade keeps telling me to "keep eating" so Emma can grow big before we have to deliver :)! I tell him I eat tons and that I'm pretty sure I'm growing a lot. I had him take a picture and, yep, I am getting bigger!
More booties! I sewed another pair of booties for Emma. These are fuzzy ones for winter to keep her feet warm :). Maybe I should start a business in the hospital, since I do have time!
This is the view from my room. It isn't very good because I couldn't figure out how to not have a glare and taking the flash off didn't work. Anyway, you can imagine the beautiful mountains right there :).

It's the little things
We've had so many people help us out this week! Cade and I are SO appreciative of all the people who have helped clean, rake leaves, cook dinners, visited, etc. So, thank you!
My Mom came down yesterday and it was so fun to see her. She helped at the house we live at with cleaning, vacuuming, dusting, laundry, and so much more. Cade's favorite highlight is the foam mattress she brought. He got such a good night's sleep here at the hospital! That made his week.
One of my favorite parts of my week was our date night last night. So obviously we are limited to what we can do for date nights. I guess next Friday I'll have to be more creative. However, we went down the hall and "rented" VHS's :). We then went downstairs and got milk shakes. We took our milkshakes outside so I could get a breath of fresh air. The best part of the night was a tiki hut we discovered outside (very random, but awesome). Cade wheeled me over there and we got to...CUDDLE! It was the best part of my last two weeks! For all of you couples out there, don't take for granted the little things. Even cuddle time is precious...it made me very happy!

So what do I do all day?
I've had many people ask about how bored I must be and the most frequent question is "What do you do all day?!" Well, this is one of the projects I've been working on...little booties for Emma. This last summer I got really into sewing and working on different projects. Well, it's a little hard to bring in my sewing machine, so a friend, Shannie, brought in fabric and a pattern so I could work on this project by hand. Two pairs down...who knows how many more I'll have time to do! I was happy with the way they turned out.
I also have been compiling tons of pictures on my computer and sent them over to get printed. Now I can start working on my photo albums that I've been wanting to get done. Other things I do are reading (although sometimes I start to get headaches by reading, so I can't do that very long), listening to books on tape (I finished "The Da Vinci Code". It was really good!), writing in my journal, doing this blog, and eating wonderful hospital food :)!
Cade took me outside on a walk and the day before, for FHE, he took me to the hospital cafe and I got ice cream! It made me very happy! Although they didn't exactly understand what Cade had ordered, so they gave me six small scoops instead of two :). Well, I should be embarrassed to say I ate the whole thing, but I'm not! It was wonderful.
So I guess being in the hospital is like being outside of it...you still wake up and say "okay, what am I going to do with today?" The only difference is there are a WHOLE LOT LESS options to choose from :)!

Cade's Chicago Trip
Cade went to Chicago with a few other co-workers for a business trip. I wish I could have gone with him, but he had a great time! The first couple days, I was wondering how much work was going on :)! He got to visit museums, bike around town, and see other great sites such as the Sears Tower.
Cade got to visit with a favorite mission companion who currently lives in Chicago and is going to medical school. We love the Noorda's! I haven't seen them in a while, but Cade loved getting to see them and misses being able to hang out with Scott and Amy!

Things that make me happy!
Since I've been in the hospital, these are things that have made me smile...
1. Going on a walk in the sunshine (well, being pushed in a wheelchair).
2. Cade sleeping over at the hospital (the bed is very small!)
3. Our date night to tour the NICU and watching a movie
4. Seeing Emma yawn on an ultrasound
5. Eating Milky ways and cherry tomatoes
6. Having lots of family and friends visit
7. Sleeping pills :)
8. Happy nurses
9. Cafe Rio (that my mom brought in)
10. Flowers
11. Still taking the sacrament in the hospital
