Magical Christmas

Christmas Eve day was a really fun day this year. We started out by going to see Frozen 2 in the morning. Then after some relaxation we got ready for a service filled evening. We took lots of homemade snacks/food to the Police and Fire Departments for those who needed to work Christmas Eve into Christmas morning. We heard they ate it all no problem :). Then we "Elfed" some Christmas gifts to family we thought could use it. After that we went back home for some Christmas carols, Gift from the Hearts the girls made for each other, s'mores and a small Christmas movie. It was a wonderful evening.

The gifts the girls made for each other:
Emma made and Elsa & Anna Yarn doll for Lucy
Reese made a necklace holder shelf for Emma
Nora made a skunk headband for Reese (all her idea!)
Lucy made a castle picture frame for Nora

I LOVE this tradition and the girls we SOOOOOO excited to give their gifts to each other. They had a hard time waiting all day!

Then Christmas morning came!!! We had a wonderful, quiet morning. They girls bounded in our room right at 7:00 to open gifts. They had woken up earlier and I could hear them "whispering" and their excitement from my bed :). This year the gift Cade and I gave them were Tubelox that the girls can make cars, forts, or anything their imagination can think of. Emma has absolutely LOVED them. They also got LEGOS, Emma got a new scooter, Nora and Lucy "American Girl Dolls" (Target brand), and Lucy finally got her "fluffy" or giant unicorn ball! It was a great morning. Then we went to Grandma and Grandpa Bleak's house for Christmas dinner and after dinner us adults exchanged gift from the hearts to each other. My parents gave us adults our Christmas gifts....the girls get a girls trip in May and the guys a guys trip in June. I couldn't be more excited!!!!!!!!!!!! Us girls are going to Cali and staying on the beach and doing a day at Disneyland. So excited.

I love my family so much. I love my Savior and the opportunity to celebrate His birth and life. Because of Him I find so much purpose in life and enjoy the moments with my family and growing with them. Merry Christmas!

The Girls Christmas Dance Concert

Emma's in hip hop
Reese is in jazz and tumbling
Nora is in jazz and tap
All the girls LOVE performing on stage!

And they got to meet Santa this year! He was super cute with them and told them last year he stepped on a LEGO that was left out and to do him a favor and pick up all the LEGOS before Christmas Eve. He knows them very well!

Holiday Fun!

A bunch of random pictures and moments from December. We had a VERY sick first half of December. Lots of fevers, colds, coughs, ear infections and more. But we were all blessed to be healthy for Christmas and we thoroughly enjoyed the Christmas break!

Every day of the month I put a little piece of paper in the advent nativity and so we did some fun things throughout the month (visit elderly, door bell ditch treats, candy cane hunt, read Christmas books, etc). This was a hot chocolate bar...

Cade and I had Jordan & Faith for "Gift from the heart" and so we made this sign for their home. They taught Nora how to say "I love you very much" in Spanish and now they say that all the time. So as a joke we put pictures of just Nora (with other pictures behind it).

We took Emma and Reese to The Piano Guys Christmas Concert and it was AMAZING. The girls really loved it too. They are so incredibly talented but also very entertaining.

Going out "Elfing" as Cade calls it is a favorite tradition of ours (Doorbell ditching treats/goodies/gifts):

Nora's Kindergarten Christmas program. She's so cute!

Sleepover by the tree. Even Penny joined :)

Bleak fam Christmas Party
We hosted the Bleak Fam party this year and it was fun as always! We always do dinner, games/nativity for kiddos, exchange Grandparents and cousin gifts, then the kiddos watch a movie while us adults get to play games (which is the best part). We played a joke game, Left/Right/Center, and an accent game (that most people hated and Andrew and Cade were pros at). We had a great time!

Our poor baby girl. She tried some eggs and apparently is pretty allergic to them (at least now. Hopefully she will grow out of it!). She threw up for hours and hours and was so miserable. I hate seeing babies sick :(.
