Random Family Fun
Baby Adlee Rose Van Noy Joins the Family!
Baby Adlee Rose Van Noy was born on August 27, 2020. She is go beautiful and we are so excited for her to join the family! As I write this post though, she is already almost 4 months old and such a CHUNK!!!! She is right on track to be as chunky as her brother Jaxon...well, not quite but she's a cute chubby baby! Everything went well with the c-section and Sisten had a good recovery. We love Adlee already!
Back to School (with Masks) & New Tradition
This year school looks different for all kids all over the world. We are blessed to be able to go back, even if it's with having to wear masks. Emma, Reese and Nora will go from 12-3 Monday through Thursday while the other half of the school goes in the morning from 8-11. It is different but we will take it! They will get most of the core curriculum done at school with some supplemental homework each day. But I am SO glad we aren't having to do virtual school at home. Being on the computer everyday is a little rough. This year Emma has Powell, Reese has Webster (LOVE HER!) and Nora gets Mrs. Mecham for the second year in a row. I think it's going to be a good year. Different, but good.
Bear Lake Year Two!
Yay for a Bear Lake tradition!! We already scheduled for next year to stay in these cabins. This year we did not wait until after school started and it was PACKED...even with covid. But we still had fun! We rented a boat one of the days and the others days we played in the sand and did the kayaks and paddle boards. Sisten and Andrew's family as well as Boose weren't there with us but the rest of us were there. We love family time in the sun and can't wait for next year!
Camping with Bleak's
In August we rented two camping spots next to each other up at Timpooneke Campground in AF canyon. One was a double site and one a single. Bryan and Jennies' family came and so did Grandma and Grandpa Bleak. I can't ever get enough of the outdoors. They always have been and always will be my favorite memories!
Cade and I went up Thursday evening and got everything set up. Everyone else slept there Thursday night but we didn't know if we could stay up there with Jane for two nights. So early Friday morning we packed the girls up and went to Tibble Fork Reservoir and met up with everyone. We had some kayaks and paddle boards that were a blast.
Then we went back to the campsite for lunch. The campsites were huge and so great for a big group! Nathan and Steph even joined us in the evening for dinner and slept over Friday night. Timpooneke Campground is my favorite. I hope to go every summer as long as we live here!
