Just some Easter fun!
I love any excuse to hang out with my sisters and Mom! We wanted to celebrate Steph having a baby boy and so we had a girls night at my place with a giant charcuterie board and games. Always fun to get together and talk.
Baby Richie Bleak came while Cade and I were in Israel and ours phones weren't working so we didnt' really get pictures and such when it happened and were a little bit out of the loop. He was born on May 3rd- Cal's birthday! It took a lot of effort to bring Richie into this world! What a blessed little boy he is to go to their family! We are excited he is here.
We had a great time staying close to home for Spring Break. We played at parks, went to Bountiful and slept over with Gma and Gpa Bleak, went ice skating, swimming with cousins, Scheels, Hockey game with Dad, and Thanksgiving Point.
And we started a new tradition that I am excited to keep going. We did a Jerusalem Dinner. We sat on the ground and ate foods similar to Christ's time and talked about the Passover week and why we celebrate Christ's resurrection. Good times!
Well, since I wasn't there I don't have too much to say about Cade's CEO trip he planned but I heard he had a great time!! He planned this trip for the guys for many weeks. They went to Universal Studios, a professional hockey game, played lots of golf and ate lots of good food.
I could be wrong but I think Cade's absolute favorite part of the trip was when I told him that I booked a tour in Israel for April. He said he almost peed his pants right there on the golf course because he was so excited when I told him 😆.
Cade has put in countless hours for Fishbowl as of late. I mean really for over 17 years but a whole lot more the last couple. He works early morning hours and after dinner a lot of times too. I am grateful he works so hard so I can be a stay at home mom. But we'll see what direction Fishbowl takes the next year. Cade could be at a different job soon. He has stayed the course and worked so hard but working under the direction of this new owner has been extremely difficult. Cade is amazing!
Well...for years I thought all the people who traveled to St. George for sports were crazy. And here we are :). It was super fun though! However, the getting there was too crazy for my liking. Of course a snow storm would be rolling in the evening all of Utah would be traveling down south. So I checked my girls out about an hour before school got out and we got on the road well before a lot of the traffic which was really good. We still had snow the whole way and I was freaking out inside most of the time but there weren't as many cars on the road as later when Cade and Lucy drove up separate. Gma Close came with me and helped talk to me the whole way down. But when I see cars all over the roads that have slid into the ditches, I get super super nervous to keep going. I am proud that I did and we made it there!
We first met up with Gma and Gpa Bleak for dinner at a burger place. They were already down there working on their new place! We are excited to use it soon!
The Airbnb was fun and Nora and Lucy slept in a red truck :).
