Camping up the canyon!

We only were able to go camping one time this summer (mainly because Lucy still screams at night). But we had tons of fun at this campsite up American Fork Canyon. We stayed at the Timpanooke Campground and our friends, the Tooke's, came with us. Trevor and Cade work together and we've been good friends with them for a while. They weren't able to stay the night but came up for dinner and games with us.

We had tin foil dinners, played ladder ball, made dutch oven peach cobbler and smores, and when it was almost time to go...Emma burned her finger on the gas powered lantern. It blistered really fast and when it was time to go to sleep, she was crying because it hurt too bad. So I took Emma and Lucy and went home to get Emma a burn spray to put on it and we slept there. We drove back up the canyon at 7:30 am and had breakfast with everyone. Then we went on a gorgeous hike and loved it. Then we packed up and went home. Good times!
