We spent our Fall Break in October in St. George, Utah. Besides the fact that Lucy was very sick the ENTIRE time, we had a great time together. Grandma and Grandpa Close were supposed to come spend the whole week with us but since Grandma Close is going to have surgery and go through radiation for breast cancer, she couldn't chance being around Lucy and get sick. We were so sad to not have them with us. And since Lucy was sick it changed some plans around but we tried to just go with the slow and enjoy what we could!
We had planned on going to Snow Canyon one day and Zions National Park another day, but ended up just doing one day at Snow Canyon as a family and then Cade took the older 3 girls to Snow Canyon again the next day. It was still a ton of fun and the girls loved climbing the big Galoots.
We also had plans for us all to go see The Little Mermaid at Tuachan Theater, but Cade stayed back with Lucy and Jane. I thought the show started at 7:30 so when we showed up super early at 7:35 and realized the show had already started I panicked and told the girls to "RUN!" At least we only missed the first scene or so. It was really well done and the girls loved it.
Other than that we swam a lot and played games and watched movies and ate at yummy places and made haunted gingerbread houses. Oh, and we visited our good friends, the Noorda's who live there in St. George. They always make amazing, healthy food for us and it's always fun catching up.
