It was a long wait for Emma's birthday party. She always gets exctied about her parties and loves to plan, plan, plan! Emma and I made decorations for weeks- floating candles, flying keys, 9 3/4 brick wall, awesome invitations and more. When the kids got here, they were sorted into their houses with a realistic sorting hat. Then they painted wands, made their own flying keys, played an every flavored bean game, made dragon eggs, and pin the scar on Harry. Then they gave gifts (many of which were Harry Potter themed), played "Bludger Ball" (real name is Gaga ball) and drank frozen butter beer. I was so happy with the way things turned out and the weather was worked in our favor. Emma had a blast teaching all of her friends how to make all those crafts. She was born a leader and really enjoys being in charge and teaching. She had 3 cousins come- William, Henry and Jaxon, 5 friends from school and a few from the neighborhood. It was a great time!!!
Other things about Emma:
- She has become so excited to start new books. Every night before going to bed she reads for about an hour. She finished the Harry Potter series
