Back to School! It Comes SO Fast!

 Another school year begins...crazy how quickly summer goes by. But it's already November by the time I am writing this and Christmas and the New Year will pass by before we know it. You have to enjoy the moments the best you can!

Emma is now in 7th Grade and is rockin' it! Her favorite classes are orchestra and art. Her least favorite class is digital literacy. 

Reese is in 5th grade now and has a new teacher to Lincoln named Ms. Bagley. She came from another school that our neighbor works at and she told us we needed to try and get her if possible. Reese absolutely loves her and thinks she's the best. 

Nora has Mrs. Webster for 3rd grade and we've always loved her. Emma and Reese were both fortunate to get her and she never makes school a boring matter. She is creative in her teaching and makes it fun. 

Lucy in in full day now for 1st grade and has Mrs. Mecham. Nora had her for both K and 1st and has become a great friend. She is awesome. Lucy of course loves being in class with her friends Millie and Anna. 

Jane finally potty trained and earned her "Bingo" costume. I told her when she was going on the potty she could go to school so naturally the first day of school she needed to wear her costume (looks like pjs). She looks so darling in them. It was a rough 1-2 months of crying every time I dropped her off. But now that she has made some friends she wants to go every day! Her best friends are Scottie and Kalia. 

Queen Days and Other summer Fun!

 We love the tradition of "Queen Days" during the summer months. Each girls gets to choose a fun activity, treat and other home activities for a day. Lucy chose the swimming pool, Nora rock climbing, Reese paddle boarding and Emma Color Me Mine (pottery painting place). Most of them chose ice cream or snow cones for their treat.

Extended Close Family Pics

It had been a very long time since we got extended family pictures on the Close side. I think since Reese and Taft were babies? It was about time! The Picture with all the grandkids with Grandma and Grandpa were the best. And all the pairs and trio groups of cousins. So fun!

 

BYU #GirlDadCamp

 Cade got to take his 3 oldest girls to a BYU camp and they all had the time of their lives! They had break-out sessions learning different sports, doing swimming, dancing, and other games and activities. They also had some amazing motivational speakers. They had fun coming home and telling me what they did and showing me the dance moves they learned :).
