Gma & Gpa Sleepover and Adult Date Night

 Grandma and Grandpa Bleak sleepover....a night they look forward to and count down the days for weeks!!! This year it was held on July 31st, Harry Potter's birthday, and so naturally they had a birthday party for him! The girls all got their Halloween Costumes early this year so they could wear them to it. Emma was Hermione, Reese was Hedwig, and Nora the snitch. They had so much fun play games, eating sorting hat cupcakes, watched Harry Potter, and went swimming on Saturday. 

While the kids were away, the adults got to play! We went to Nathan and Steph's house for take-out and a paint night. We had so much fun!

A Different Anniversary

 We celebrated our 13th anniversary this year! And most things were closed because of Covid-19 and that meant the temples were all closed which was such a bummer!!! But we had a great time anyway! 

We went to Sundance and stayed in a lodge there. We ate at the Treehouse and it was delicious! We went on a fun lift ride and walked around the beautiful resort. This was pretty much a repeat of anniversary 10 but we love Sundance so much it was so fun again!

Pontoon Boat at Deer Creek

 Since Sisten and Andrew wouldn't be able to come to Bear Lake this year they mentioned how fun it would be to rent a pontoon boat at Deer Creek. So their family, our family and Nathan and Steph all rented and we had a BLAST!!! The weather was amazing and the kids had the BEST time. It was a double decker, so the kids could jump off the top into the water or go down the slide. It was so much fun!

Gma Close Comes to Visit!

We had the best time having Grandma Close come visit this summer! It was in July and we were able to make crafts, play games, and our favorite GO CAMPING with her! Well, Me, Grandma and Jane went home to sleep but we still had a great time in the outdoors! We love when she comes to visit and missed seeing Grandpa this time around!

 

Zoo for the 4th of July

 We had a great time at the zoo even with wearing masks the whole time and me being paranoid with Lucy touching and pretty much licking everything around her :). It was still fun to get out and go somewhere as a family!

Dance "Concert" Finally- 2020 Style

 Well, the virus has changed lots of things including their dance concert. They still dressed up and parents could come and watch at the studio. Not quite the same as the big stage but is still very fun watching what our girls had been working on! We love seeing them progress and develop talents!

Staycation at the Bleak's

 The Bleak’s know how to party! The end of June, Bryan and Jennie were in charge of our staycation this year and it was a blast. Friday evening we all got sitters and the adults went to Bountiful to have take-out and listen to my dad’s temple presentation on the Rome and Salt Lake City temples. It was SO neat. My Dad had quite the incredible job designing temples for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It was so neat to hear about those two projects in more detail. 

Then Saturday we were at Bryan and Jennie's house from 10 am until nightfall. They had rented a GIGANTIC blow-up slide that adults could have fun with along with the kids. There was good food and lawn games, a family talent show and a human piñata (that was hilarious!!!). Jordan had candy hot glued on to his shirt and he ran around the yard with the kids chasing him and trying to grab candy off of him. 

We always have a fun time when we get together and this was no exception.
