Girls St. George Trip

My sisters and mom (minus Steph and Jennie) and I went to St. George did two nights and it was SO fun. We left Friday around noon and drove straight to a Mexican place to eat. After that we got pies at a yummy pie shop and went to hike around Gunlock Falls. The falls were flowing and they were MAGICAL!! They usually only flow every 8-10 years. They were flowing I think 3 years ago but because of our intense winter of snow they were flowing this year! I could have stayed there for a long, long time. And since we went in the evening there weren’t a lot of people.

After Gunlock we went to our Airbnb townhome and did pickle ball and hot tubbing and then games. Great first day!

On day two we woke up and ate some yummy pastries, played some pickle ball, then drove around to find a hike that wasn’t closed off by the St. George Marathon. We ate more yummy food, laid by the pool (I sat in the hot tub while my sisters and mom laid in the sun- barely 70 degrees is too cold for me 🤣) and then played games, ate dessert and watched “A Man Called Otto”. It was all my favorite things.

Sunday we packed up and drove past the temple being built, went to church in St George, stopped by the Beaver Creamery, and drove home. It was a wonderful, wonderful time with some of my favorite women.

Jaynie Turns Four!!! Happy birthday!

We love our sweet and fun loving Jane Elizabeth. What a cute and amazing addition to our family. Some of my favorite things about Jane are:

- How well she plays with Benny. They are the best of friends and have the best time together.

-She has gotten through some rough months of not wanting to go to preschool and not wanting me to leave but have powered through it and is a trooper now.

- Jane loves friends and loves playing with her sisters. She is a social bug for sure.

- Some of Jane’s favorite things are: eating popsicles, riding bikes/scooters, going to the park, playing with friends, watching PJ Masks, and having family time.

She had a great birthday. She opened her gifts in the morning and got a wiggle car, an electronic drum set with headphones and a few other things. We got pizza and "ice cream suckers" and took them to the park with Gma and Gpa Close. It was a beautiful evening and we even got dad there with us. We love our sweet Janie Boo!!

Random Family Fun

We went to a comedic play called "The Play that Went Wrong". Even though it was HILLARIOUS, Lucy still managed to fall asleep toward the end when the entire set was falling apart 😂. It was fantastic.

When we had online Friday (which I love) we went to Airborne Trampoline park in Lindon and had the entire place to ourselves almost the entire time. The kids had a blast.

I went with Emma and Reese to a mommy-daughter Young Women's activity night. We played games, made cupcakes and colored and talked. It was a good time.

Lincoln 5K Color Run

This year Lincoln Academy (the girls school) did a color run for their 5k fundraiser. It was super fun to cheer and support this year. I wasn't a fan of the color chalk being thrown in my face or of my littles so me and Jane and Benson cheered them on. Cade and the older girls had a blast though! Of course to Lucy "it was the BEST DAY EVER!"

Emma's Orchestra Trip!!

Emma had the time of her life going to San Francisco with her friends from school. The orchestra, band and choirs all went and had the best time. Here are some of her experiences in her own words:
