Elder Bleak comes home from Argentina!

Elder Jordan Bleak is home from his mission!!! He got home on June 22nd. He is such an amazing person and such a great example to all of his nieces and nephews. And boy are they glad he is home!! He served faithfully for two years in the Mendoza, Argentina mission.

We all met at the airport- which happened to be the busiest day of the entire year. The most missionaries to ever come home on any one given day. So it was kind of crazy and some family members made it JUST in time. We were so excited to see him and especially the older nieces and nephews- William, Henry, Emma and Reese! It was so cute!

After, we went up Mueller Park Canyon in Bountiful and had lunch and let the kiddos play in the water most of the afternoon. It was so great being all together and catching up with him.

He is now attending BYU in Provo so we get to see him a lot now! It's so fun to be so close to him now. We love him and are excited to spend time with him again!

Lucy's Baby Blessing!

Lucy Ann Close was given a beautiful name and blessing by her Daddy. We had Cade's parents, Tara and her boys and most of my family there to celebrate with us.

Lucy, you were blessed with many things. Some of which:
- A body of good health to be able to serve others and work hard.
- Blessed to know your divinity and have confidence in who you are.
- Peace to be able to avoid depression
- Faith in your Savior, Jesus Christ.
- Your name means "light" and you will be a light to others.
- Bless you to love have patience and be close to your three older sisters.
- To live the Gospel, be modest and kind- look to your mother and other good women for examples.
- Bless to understand the Priesthood
- Someday will receive ordinances in the temple and be a wife and mother

We love Lucy so much and I am SO grateful for a husband who worthily holds the Priesthood and cherishes our sweet girls!

Remembering Great Grandma Jones

Great grandma Jones (Cade's Grandma) lived a long long life. She was 86 years old when she passed away on May 28, 2016. She had her very first heart attack 22 years ago and has had many heart surgeries since. For 22 years now it has been Grandma Jones "last Christmas with us" :). Since she had so many health issues, I think everyone took advantage of the time spent with her because we never knew when her time would pass. However, she is one of the most determined, physically strong women I have ever known.

Grandma Jones' funeral was beautiful. Cade spoke and had so many lovely stories of the lives she touched during her years on earth. She dug a pool in her own backyard with her own hands so she could provide physical therapy for her daughter Cindy who had Polio. She always had pizza available at all the big family gatherings so her grandson Ehren would always have his favorite thing to eat. She was always looking out for the ONE. Grandma always treated strangers as family. She took everyone into her home and loved those who didn't feel loved. She left a great legacy to those who she left behind. We will miss seeing Grandma when we visit Prescott, but are happy she is not in pain anymore and now with our Heavenly Father. We love you, Grandma!

Spring Break Stay-cation and Other Family Fun

During Spring Break we didn't go out of town like a lot of families do but we had a wonderful stay-cation and had a lot of family fun!

We went bowling as a family while my neighbor watched little Lucy so she could stay healthy :). The girls loved it. Nora did for the first round of games :).

Provo Beach Resort to go on the carousel, eat ice cream and play on the playground is always a must!

We finally got to to eat lunch at Grandpa Bleak's work! I used to do this when I was a little girl every time we had a break in school. Now my girls get to! We love Grandma and Grandpa Bleak.

Cade taking all the neighbor kids on "Wee-hoo" rides :). The girls love going on the Wee-hoo.

Of course we had to spend some time up the canyon. I LOVE being in the mountains! One of my favorite places to be! The girls played with snow (a little chilly still) with their buckets and shovels, had a picnic, put up the hammock and roasting 'smores. Fun fun!

Nora got her pants soaking wet so she got make shift coat pants...and she was NOT a fan...

We went with some friends to the LDS Timpanogos Temple to help us do some sealings for family members. The Tooke's and Anderson's are from Cade's work. We love having great friends to do spiritual things with.

Reese and Emma finished their gymnastics class right before Spring Break. They loved this class and it was fun they could be there at the same time. This next year we are going to do dance again instead of gymnastics and see how it goes.

We visited my cousin Jessica Osborn and had a great time playing there, seeing her animals, and just catching up. I love Jess and Peter. Such incredible people.

We got a bunk cot that the girls were too anxious to try out in their bedroom. Hopefully we'll be able to use in camping soon!
