Cade’s 20th High School Reunion!

 Fhdhhd

Fall Fun/Fall Break

We gotta start the fall festivities by talking about BYU football 😆. I haven't been as into it this year with having a baby but Cade has been just as invested as ever :). He went to a game with our good friend David Roura. The girls are getting into cheering for them as well.

Of course one of my absolute favorite things of fall is going up the canyon and hiking through amazing colors!!! We did our new favorite spot by the Granite Flats campground entrance since its easy and as long or short as you want.

Lincoln Academy had a fall festival at the school and we invited neighbor friends to come. Then we invited them over for movie night. The girls had a blast. Their favorite was the face painting.

Another fun hike with Reese and Nora. I just needed to get out and get some fresh air so we hiked up to Battlecreek Falls and I enjoyed their entertaining company!

Dad finally came to swim at JD's house and it was a blast with him there!

Fall break consisted of making haunted gingerbread houses, going to Jaker's Pumpkin patch in Springville, and doing the "witch hunt" at Gardner Village. We had good times actually getting out of the house as an entire family. Our original plans were to go to St. George with Nathan and Steph and Kristen and Andrew but Jane and Benson had colds and we really didn't want to travel south with sick babies and chance them getting even worse (and ear infections). So we changed plans but had a great time around here.

Cross Country & Volleyball

This fall our neighbor, Kat Swan, had asked if Reese and Nora wanted to do Cross Country with her girls. They did it for about two months and actually really enjoyed it! They had practice every Thursday and a meet somewhere in Utah county every Monday. They worked super hard and had a great time! I think Daddy and I had an even better time supporting them!

Emma has been doing volleyball this fall and has her last game this Saturday. She has been LOVING it and it’s been super fun to see her enjoy doing a sport. I was never athletic and as I got older felt super self-conscious trying sports so I’d love my girls to feel confident in at least one sport as they grow up. Emma wants to continue doing volleyball and she is getting good at it too!

Gma & Gpa leave for Hawaii!

We have and are going to miss them soooooo much but we are so excited Grandma and Grandpa Bleak get to serve a mission in Hawaii at the PCC (Polynesian Cultural Center). They are going to be such great missionaries for 18 months.

They have now been gone for almost 2 months and it hasn’t seemed that long because we get to FaceTime or call them whenever we want! What an awesome thing in our day and age. They have had some awesome experiences including speaking at the BYU Hawaii’s devotional yesterday. The talks were amazing and I am so proud of them and their dedication to the Lord and His work. They are great examples to their children and grandchildren and we will be blessed because of them.
