Mother's Day 2024

A few days before Mother's Day My mom and sisters and I went to lunch together to Zupas.

THEN...Cade let me use a big giftcard from work to pay for a stay at Sundance. He and I went up there and had dinner together and soaked in the (mosquito infested) hot tubs :). Then he went home with the kids while I slept there. Unfortunately there was a loud dog keeping me from sleeping so I moved rooms which was a whole different part of the mountain. The next morning I went on a walk, ate breakfast and got a massage. Could it be any better???

Mother's Day morning Cade made me breakfast and then let me go on a hike with my 3 girls taht like to hike with me. We went up a trail called "Three Falls Trail" in Alpine.

On our hike, the girls found "Stick Bird" from our favorite show "Bluey".

A drawing from Jane. Could there by anything cuter?!!

I just have to say that being a mom is my absolute favotire thing in this world. There is nothing I would rather be doing with my time. I even fought for half day Kindergarten this fall so Jane could be around a little longer. The time is going by way too fast. I love my kiddos SOOOOOOOOOO much.

Spring Sports and End of School Year Recitals

Lots and lots of end of the year fun. I'll be brief :)...

The girls piano recital. They all worked so hard and did great.

Nora and Dad were the only ones who were able to run in the Lincoln 5K this year. Nora had a great time doing it with him though!

Lucy finished her Let's Play Music program- a 3 year piano program. Now she is on to private piano and FLUTE lessons. She is enjoying music lessons a lot more than in anticipated!!

Nora's Orchestra had their final concert on May the 4th, so naturally they had some dressed up in Star Wars costumes and played the movie theme song. Coming this fall, Emma will be in the orchestra with her!

Jane Graduated from Preschool! This year she attended PEAC preschool just a couple minutes up the road. So convenient but defintely expensive. She really loved it so I think it was worth it.

Nora did track again with a bunch of girls from our ward. She is becoming especially good at the standing long jump. A couple of the meets she tied for 1st place. She also likes the 100 and 200 meter and loves that she can do track like her dad.

Lucy, Sadie and Evelyn did their first year of basketball. They didn't win any games but they had a fun time playing together and trying!!

Reese had another great round of soccer with the rec team. This time though, her dad got to coach most of the season/games.

Lucy's school class with Mrs. Roberts. Most of her class were in giant tears because Mrs. Roberts won't be back next year. Very sad. So after school we went home and had friends over for pizza and ice cream and then we went to a part to say goodbye to Mrs. Webster and Mrs. Roberts.

Jane Turns 5!

Jane had a birthday party for her 5th birthday! She invited 7 of her good friends and we played lots of cheetah games. A sister got sick so we ended up having it at Gma and Gpa's house instead.

Some things about Janie Boo:
-Jane is very independent. She loves to do things on her own and show what a big girl she is.
-She is still obsessed with animals- mostly kittens and cats. She asks just about every day if we can get one.
- She LOVES to play with friends. Especially Mia Swan. But she tends to do naughty things with Mia so she gets grounded from her (all Jane's ideas Every. Single. Time- like sneaking over to neighbors homes without telling and cutting each others hair and eating tons of tylenol tablets at Swan's and not telling me)
-Jane is so cute with Benson and likes to teach him how to play house and she also reads books to him. Benson loves her SO much.
-She is into watching the Wild Kratts show, riding her bike a lot, going to Grandma's for go-gurts and playing the piano (making up all sorts of songs).

She is such a light in our family and we love her spunky, fun personality!
