I LOVE SPRING BREAK!!!! Really, I love any break with my kiddos. Time to take away sports and music and all the things on the schedule and just BE TOGETHER. We started out the break with a little hike up Battlecreek Falls in PG. A regular favorite.

Then we invited a bunch of neighborhood friends over for a "Foodtastic" food art competition. It was great. We did the theme "Bluey" and got in groups to make an episode of Bluey then had to guess what episode it was. Jane and Benson and I were a team and oddly enough we picked the same episode as Reese and Abby--Stick Bird. It was fun creating.
Then we went to the Puppy Barn and got ice cream in Orem. That evening was our April Fools "Crazy Cafe" Dinner. You can see Nora eating spaghetti with her hands :).
On Tuesday we piled in the kids and the bikes and went to 2 different bike parks with our neighborhood friends, the Folker's. The first park was great fun. A few scrapes and bruises but overall the kiddos had a blast. Then we went and got ice cream at Rita's. The second bike park was a little more intense and ended up with needing to take Evelyn to the ER to get some stitches. We were SO close to making it the whole day with no big injuries. Luckily it wasn't right on her eye and some stitches took care of it.
On Wednesday we took Grandma Close and Rachel Bagley to Salt Lake City on the train. We went to the Church History Museum and then ate lunch at City Creek Mall. We had a great time especially having Rachel Bagley there with us. She's so loving to all my kids and they love her SO much.
Thursday we had a BYU day with dad. We hiked to the "Y" with our children. Cade and I had done it before but not our kiddos. It's a decently difficult hike but they did great! Now when I read an alphabet book with Benson he and we get to the Y letter he always says, "we hiked to the Y!" Pretty cute.
The last few things...we got chicks! I hate how we just did this 3 years earlier. Not sure why our chickens stopped laying but here we are again! The girls were very excited to have chicks again.
Also, some pictures from Cade and Gma Close taking Emma, Reese and Nora for a last minute trip to see general conference at the Conference Center in Salt Lake City. I stayed home and took the littles to ride scooters at the church and have a pizza picnic.
Random picture of Emma and I going on a walk in April...me wearing all the layers and her wearing summer clothes. Story of our lives.
