4th of July Fun

The day before the 4th, we went on a ride up the canyon with Grandma and Grandpa Close. Unfortunately we forgot our paddle board and our cooler of food :) so it was a short trip. We drove back down and had our picnic in our backyard and then went paddle boarding and playing at Manila Pond.

The morning of the 4th, Aunt Stephanie was awesome as always and let us come join their spot for the 4th of July parade in Provo. Our favorite part was seeing part of the cast of "The Chosen" as well as "Studio C"- our two favorite family shows.

In the afternoon we went to Nathan and Steph's house for water fun and a BBQ. Then at night we did the fireworks at the elementary down the street. Good times with family!!

Benny Turns 2!!

Oh man! I don't want this little boy to keep growing! He is at such a fun stage and age and I love him sooooo much at two!! But I also love seeing him grow and learn and become such a fun part of our family.  The best word to describe Benson is a sweetheart! He is sooooo sweet and loves to snuggle. I eat up those snuggles every single time.

Some of Benson's favorite things are popsicles (cocos), baths, riding bikes/scooters, visiting Gma Close for a go-gurt, playing at the park, all things fruit, watching Elmo and Little Einsteins, and eating all day long!

Some of my favorite words he says are "ray!" (hooray!), oo-foo (LuLu), and

For Benson's birthday we invited both sets of Grandparents over and Aunt Boose Boose. We had Benson's favorite foods (chicken nuggets, bread, LOTS of fruit) and a variety of popsicles. He got a big dump truck,  a bubble machine and a boat/helicopter bath toy.

We love you Benny!!! What a great little guy joined our family. We love you SO much.

Just some fun, random pics...

Got into my lipstick :)...

Young Women's and Young Men's Camps

Right after we got back from California, Emma and Reese immediately packed again and left for Girls Camp. This year it was at Heber Valley Girls Camp. They both had a great time. It was Reese's first year going and she was most excited to tell me all about the animals they saw while there (which included badgers, deer, fawn, potguts (ground squirrels) chipmunks and moose!). They loved being in cabins and staying up all hours- except Reese- she likes to go to bed :).

Cade went with the Young Men to Pineview. It wasn't quite as "High" adventure as years past but still had a good time! They camped right on the Pineview Reservoir and did some hiking, boating and rocket making/launching.
