Camping up AF Canyon with the Tooke's

Some of my favorite memories in life are from camping. Being in nature with my family is an amazing thing. I love that the kids use their imaginations and get dirty! We love going with the Tooke family and have started making it a tradition now. Emma and Brielle don't see each other very often but when they get together it's like they always are best friends.

We have fun doing archery, hiking/exploring, making s'mores, swinging in the hammock and playing games. And at only 3 months old, Baby Jane did AMAZING and slept pretty much the whole time. During the daytime she slept in her swing and at night she only woke up once to eat. Such a good baby.

Baby Jane Elizabeth is Blessed

Our Jane got blessed on Sunday, July 7th. We had lots of family here to support our sweet baby. Some of the things Jane was blessed with:
-- A healthy body and mind to do the work of the Lord (free from anxiety and illness)
-- Knowledge that she is daughter of God and confidence in herself
-- Named after a pioneer Ancestor, (Elizabeth Moore Bleak) and like her bless Jane with great faith and perseverance
-- Recognize the spirit and be able to reach out and minster to others
-- Be able to feel love from your mom and dad, sisters and friends
-- Will have opportunities to go to the temple and make covenants and that you will feel loved there

We love our sweet, easy-going baby Jane. She is surely a blessing to our family!!

4th of July- Close's/Young's Come Visit!!

Over the 4th of July weekend, the Close/Young Families came to visit. The cousins all had SO much fun together! We all had a great time together.

They got to Pleasant Grove early on the morning of the 4th. Johnny and Grandpa Close kept sleeping but the others joined us for the Provo parade. I am not a huge fan of parades, but the Provo one is a really fun one.

Other things we did were the giant Bluffdale Splash pad and park (that is always a hit. It's like a free water park because it's so big), water balloons and sprinklers in the backyard, washed Daddy/Uncle Cade's truck (they loved that), went to the big "Castle Park" (Discovery Park), and celebrated Tessa's first birthday. The big event we had that weekend was Baby Jane's baby blessing. I will post about that in a separate post.

We LOVE seeing these cousins grow up together and get to be such good friends.

Baby Jane is 2 Months Old!

We love our sweet baby Jane. She is such a sweet, happy baby and I am SOOOOO grateful for her easy-going temperament. The girls all ooo and ahh over her every single day. Never gets old.
