Water Fun in the Sun & Backyard Camping

This is a random post of fun summer adventures! We had such an awesome summer in the outdoors and all thanks to Jane for being a low-key, easy baby so we could enjoy so many fun things together. These are in no particular order.

Backyard camping! Even though it wasn't in the mountains the girls still love doing it! Jane and I stayed inside this time :).

Steph and Sisten brought their kiddos and we played at Manilla Pond by our house (AKA the beach as the girls know it). They just had a blast digging and playing in the dirt.

Tibble Fork! Boose Boose came with us up the AF canyon. I told Emma and Reese "Don't touch the water. Just jump off the dock!" So they did and were very mad at me for telling the to do so. I went and stuck my foot in and it was absolutely FREEZING!!!! I felt bad for telling them to do it :).

We went to Nathan and Steph's house to play at their house and on their water bounce house. It was super fun. Lucy and Sophie have become such cute friends. They love each other!

Just random backyard fun:

Going to Grandpa Bleak's work for lunch! Those were some of my favorite memories from my childhood. I'm glad we could go a few times before Grandpa retires!

Random fact about Nora: she is amazing at the game Memory! I love playing games with her.

Mark Probert, Cade's friend from Fishbowl, let us come to ride his horses/pony. The girls love riding and love animals.

Axe Throwing with Friends- Absolutely Terrifying :)

For my friend, Spring's birthday a bunch of us girls went Axe throwing! It was pretty scary especially because right before starting our session, the worker and Spring were talking about a YouTube video of someone who threw an axe and it bounced off the ground and came back and she had to duck so it wouldn't hit her!!!! AHHH!!! Why tell us that right before we all throw them??? Anyway, it ended up being fu in the end but it took 55 minutes to actually get the hang of it and not be totally freaked out. So 5 minutes was fun :).

Me and Rachel Skeen (She moved to WA from our neighborhood a year and half ago):

Spring:

Our Friend Debby Hoster

Our good friend, Debby Hoster, passed away. We have so many memories of this sweet lady and can't wait until we get to see her again! I"m sure her and Grandma Jones had a wonderful reunion together in heaven! We will miss her hugs and kisses, her brownies and cookies she always brought, her love and joy she always showed towards our family. We love her!

Arizona Family Reunion- Girls Fly with Daddy!

Tara threw a party/get-together in June of this year for two reasons. 1) Celebrate Grandma Veronica Close's birthday and 2) Get the family together to try and make mends with each other (Dale's brothers and sisters). It was so wonderful and was exactly what the family needed.

Since Jane was only 6 weeks old or so I stayed back with her and Lucy. Cade flew with the three older girls and they had SO much fun. Some of their favorite things were building a "hotel" (fort) outside in the trees and dirt, riding their new go-cart around the home outside and just playing with their cousins.

Girls Dance Recital June 2019

It was fun to have THREE of my cute girls in dance this time! Emma wanted to take a break from dance last fall until she saw the hip hop group at the recital and decided that was for her! She has loved doing hip hop ever since.

Nora and Reese still love it and just started again this fall (2019). Nora's class did a dance to Beyonce's "All the Single Ladies", chipmunk version, and it was SOOOOOO cute. We bough the DVD this time since my girls were in 5 of the dance numbers. I LOVE watching my girls do things they love.

Memorial Day at the Bleak's

Memorial Day we spent at Nathan and Steph's house in Provo. They have such a fun backyard. Some highlights were the blowup slide/bounce house and the obstacle course Andrew made up for the kiddos. I spent most of the time taking care of newborn Jane but it was still fun!
