End of School & Reese's K Graduation

School comes to and end so fast! These pictures were from Emma's Westward Expansion day at the park. Mrs. Ross was a great teacher and Emma loved being in her class.

Disney and Cali 2018

We have always loved going to Disneyland. But this trip we came to a realization...Disney is forever and always going to be jam packed from here on out :(. We usually try and hit the "Ghost town days" or days where it's not completely packed, but even this time it was insanely busy. But the fun thing about this time is that we took Boose Boose with us. She was so much fun to have!

The night before we left for California, Lucy was perfectly healthy. Then of course the morning we leave she is hacking up a lung and sounds like she has croup. She was sick and never got sleep the entire trip...which meant i didn't really get sleep the entire trip but unfortunately with her past I have been used to that :(.

Other than that we had a fantastic trip. The first day we got there was Saturday. We met up with Kristen and Andrew and their kiddos at Santa Monica Pier. We ate lunch, walked around, and the best part was riding motorized scooters!! It was so much fun! I wished we could have done that all day. On Sunday, we found a church to go to at 9:00 am in Anaheim. It was kind of random, but we ran into Jordan's old girlfriend, Britton, at that sacrament meeting. We loved her so much and it was fun to see her! Then we went to a beach called Mother's Beach and had a lot of fun there and then went back to the hotel to swim in the pool. It was a fun day. Then Monday we did Disneyland and Tuesday we did California Adventure.

One of the absolute best times of the trip was splash mountain!!! Hahahaha. I feel like a terrible mom saying that but the whole thing was just hilarious. Our friend, Tara Anderson (who we met up with there), had told Emma and Reese that if they were brave and went on splash mountain that she would buy them a special treat. So they said yes and went with Boose and I. When the ride went down two little hills and they remembered how much they HATED this ride, they wanted to get off or turn back. I told them that wasn't possible and we started on our ascent up the giant hill. Reese and Emma broke down crying and screaming like that was going to be the end of their lives. "Get me off!!!!!" "Stop the ride!!!!" They were absolutely hysterical. Boose and I were dying of laughter because it was so incredibly dramatic. We went down and the picture below says it all!! Hahahaha! It was so funny. They earned their treat, but I'm pretty sure they will never trust any adult ever when we tell them a ride isn't scary :).

Some of the other highlights were the "Frozen" show, face painting (Daddy made Nora's dreams come true she was so happy he said they could do that), Sorin' Around the World (girls favorite ride), and meeting the princesses (Lucy was so chatty with them. It was so cute!). We had a great time and so glad Boose could come with us.

Flying. Reese got to go to the pilots cabin!

At Mother's Beach. It was chilly but the girls had so much fun just digging and playing in the sand.

BEFORE AND AFTER OF SPLASH MOUNTAIN...

Nora Soccer

In April and May, Nora participated in soccer for the first time. She surprised Dad and I with how determined and hard-working she was. Nora never cried and whenever she was called to come on the field, she ran out and did her best. She scored most every game and loved playing!

Music Recital- "The Cheetahs"

Emma finished her 3rd year of Let's Play Music and Reese finished her first year. At the end of year 3, the students compose their own pieces. Emma named hers "The Cheetahs". She did a wonderful job and worked so hard at it.

We got BUNNIES!!!

April 18th the girls finally got their bunnies :). For months Reese and sometimes Emma or Nora with her would go to my neighbors house around the corner to visit their bunnies. They usually had anywhere from 8-20 bunnies at a time. Reese was always in HEAVEN. She would beg and beg to get her own. Then one time we went to visit the bunnies and there was a new black and white bunny. Reese was SO excited that this bunny was so nice and would't run away from her. I asked my friend about this new bunny and said if she ever considered selling it we may want it.

Then Cade and I started working on building a bunny pen on the south side of our home. We took out one of our vegetable boxes and put a bunny pen in there. It was definitely a lot of work and trial and error (hitting a sprinkler line that cost us a whole lot of time and money and pain :)) but we finished it and the girls were so excited to bring over three bunnies to call their own. Reese brought home Oreo, Emma got Cinnabun (Rex bunny that is cute and fat), and Nora got Tibbles. They are all very nice and so adorable. It's been great to see the girls care for their animals. Everyday they make sure they have food and water and bring out ice blocks in the hot summer days. Then once every six weeks or so they muck out the pen and put new straw in--not their favorite chore but they actually don't complain about it yet. It's been so much fun to have these cute bunnies.
