Yesterday was such a wonderful day. We had the opportunity to give Reese a name and a blessing. It was a beautiful blessing given by her daddy and it was so wonderful to have Cade’s family and mine there to share the special day with. Cade’s parents and Tara and Johnny and their 2 boys flew in for the weekend to share this day with us. It was so awesome to see them and have all of us together. We also got to meet Taft for the first time! He is a DARLING little baby!
The day of the blessing, we had over 30 people there to share in the event. During Sacrament meeting, Cade gave Reese the beautiful blessing and then he actually got to speak that day too! I heard he did an incredible job :)…unfortunately I have a toddler who didn’t allow me to pay attention to it. I was pretty upset but what do you do? Of course last Sunday Emma was a perfect angel and then yesterday she was a complete defiant monkey! Yes, not my favorite meeting, but the rest of the day was wonderful! Cade reassures me that he can give the talk to me anytime…it’s just not the same though. At least I got to listen to the first 5 minutes :).
After the meeting, we had everyone over to our house for dinner and it was a little crazy, but wonderful to have so many people we love in our house at the same time!
We had so much fun being able to spend time with the Close side! It was way too short but loved it! Here are some great pics with all the grandbabies on that side:

It was such a wonderful weekend. We missed having Kristen, Andrew and Jaxon with us! Two weeks earlier, however, we got to participate in Jaxon's blessing while they were still in Utah. Here are some pics from his big day:
